Question

A friend of mine exclaimed to me, last Saturday, (quite angrily, that between the genders if one was the ULTIMATE PREDATOR, a woman had yo be!
Now I ask of the forum, from your experiences, if had, if what my friend said to me - to your perception, observation, experience. What gender would you consider the ULTIMATE Predator?
FOR WHAT REASONS?
And details, please.
At your discretion, exposed!
And personal experience if any?

I have refused to talk to my friend since then, because what he said about women's tactics "To disembowel psychologically" seems a little drastic a statement to make.
THIS IS NOT, a trap of a question, I'd like to know what either, both genders feel, about what remark was made.
Do not think I will be angry of offended by your answers if provided . . this is more of a poll/survey taken.
As to my friend, well, I'll deal with that little detail, all by myself!

"To disembow psychologically" is indeed a strong statement, kind of has a catchiness to it in a horrific kind of way.
Sounds like your friend has been really raked over the coals by someone, or maybe he had to witness his father or some other important male role model go through a painfully disastrous relationship. It's not the type of statement one would make in casual debate.
Specifically, predator is defined as any organism that exists by preying on other organisms. By this definition all humans are predators. But in the war of the genders, this boils down to the age old debate of 'men from Mars and women from Venus.' Stereotypically men are seen more as physical predators and women emotional predators. But, I've noticed to speak in stereotypes brings a lot of angry responses.
So, in sum, I think he just got really hurt by some woman and is stereotyping them while he heals.

In a curious way, I think it may sort of balance out.
I tend to believe that a vastly smaller percentage of women than men are predatory by nature, but those who ARE may very well be significantly more deadly and efficient predators than the males.

If I had to deal with a really deadly, stone cold sociopathic predator, I think I would rather it be a male than a female. The male generally launches a direct attack (more like a dog) - basically, what you see is what you get - but the really creative and intelligent female sociopath will slink, stalk and attack from an obscure angle when the victim's guard is down (more like a cat).

Men are more overtly confrontational while women are more covertly into avoiding direct confrontation. The male murderer usually kills by direct physical violence (shooting, stabbing, strangling, etc.), while the female murderess more often kills by deception and trickery (poison is a historic favorite with homicidal females).
It is just my personal feeling, I suppose, but I think a direct threat that one can see coming, so to speak, is less fearsome to deal with than a hidden threat you know is out there and you know will come stealthily from a direction you will not be looking towards.

Although the conclusion he draws may have some degree of merit, it sounds as though your friend did not arrive at it from a very objective viewpoint. I think perhaps he has been badly hurt by a woman at some time in his life, and is, in some way, drawing on the memory of a very bad experience to generalize the issue.

To reiterate, I believe there are way fewer female predators per capita, but I also believe that those few that ARE out there are more dangerous, by far, than a male counterpart of the same intelligence level.

You know in nature it is men's natural instinct to move from female to female and use up their best qualities then move to a younger more attractive female. Also they never have to worry about so0o0o0o many things that women do, like strap problems, PMS and child birth, hair and make-up...yet still have the audacity to complain that their life is worse. Did you know a full time mom works the equivalent of two full time jobs?

you know. I heard a little joke once....

a little boy came up to a little girl and was teasing her.. he showed her his new toy soldier and when she asked if she could play with it he told her "no way, your not a boy.. so you can't play with my toy".. the little girl was upset.. and went home and told her mom what had happened.. she then went out and bought the girl a toy soldier... and the next day the little girl showed it to the boy... to this the boy went home and got his tricycle... .. to the same effect... again the mother goes out and buys her daughter what she wanted. The next day the little boy sees the little girl on a new trike. He walks up to her.. pulls down his pants and says "Well you can never have one of these"... the little girl starts to cry and runs home... the next day the little boy sees her again and walks up to her.. and asks her "Well, your mom couldn't go out and buy you one of those could she"... the little girl looks at him and says "No", then she lifts up her skirt and says "But she said as long as I have one of these, I can have as many of "those" as I want"

The moral of this story is.. women always have had.. and always will have.. the ultimate bait... and so long as this is true.. you will be the better predator.
