My pc: AMD 3500+ (2.2ghz), Abit AV8-3rd eye (K8T800), 2x 512mb (200mhz), 6800GT (256mb)

Hope i got that right! Anyway, one of my 512mb's is causing problems (frequent BSOD...) and I want to upgrade to 2gb ram seeing as a lot of stuff i do could probably use it. I also hope I'll be able to benefit from 667mhz speed instead of 200mhz i have at the moment? I am confused with this though...

I want to spend around £100, and I'll probably make a choice from whats available on ebuyer.com

If any more information is required please ask and I'll make an effort to provide

NOPE!
Here's your board:

It is on the socket 939 platform that supports only up to ddr 400 (184 pins). DDR2 that has 240 pins is completely INCOMPATIBLE.

XP professional 32bit makes use of purely 3GB max. in case you run digital machines then its very very effective to have extra RAM.. yet in spite of this 3GB is the shrink for 32bit XP. RAM only lets you open extra courses with out going to the sluggish complicatedpersistent digital memory

go to www.crucial.com and run a memory scan. This tool will tell you everything about your motherboard. You can choose the kind of RAM you need to install.
