he comes clean and admits guilt?
It looks like his plea is not to far away

If he is sincere and honest in an admission can you overlook the cruelty of this and forgive and follow him again as a QB?

Remember I do not care one way or the other. I live in Los Angeles. We don't have pro football since Georgia robbed us and Al went home where the Raiders belong. I have always been curious how forgiving America really is. Many say that we will forgive anything if there is sincerity in the apology.

Before the dog fighting I always thought he was a classless thug that duked a lot of people into thinking he was a great football player. I have yet to see any reason why people are so clueless with him.

Saying that, I cannot believe one word that comes out of his mouth, even if it is a sincere apology. I just don't think he has it in him to be remorseful.

His actions speak louder...at this point he is going to say anything that will save his reputation or get him off. He's not sorry, just sorry he got caught.

I don't like or dislike M. Vick as a football player, I don't know much about him asI'm a Bears' fan.

That said, i don't think throwing his a$$ in jail and kicking him out of football helps dogs in any way shape or form. the abuse will go on and on.

In my opinion, an appropriate punishment would be to have him admit guilt, fine him a boat-load of money, on a continuous basis (as long as he's gainfully employed), and put that money towards programs which would save animals from abuse. possibly even an animal shelter specifically for animals saved from dog-fighting situations. to ensure his dedication to rehabilitation, and remorse for what he's done, force Vick to work at the shelter or on other Animal Welfare initiatives during his off-season, for life!

Yes
America has a history of accepting our sports figures if they humble themselves and accept responsibility for what they have done. Work thier way back in to the mainstream. I'll bet even Barry Bonds if he had admitted to taking steroids two years ago, #756 would have been a national holiday (well at least a hell of a party.)

Yes. He will be back in the NFL. Probably not with the Falcons though. He got involved in some stupid stuff and it's a pretty bad mistake. But he has to have a chance to learn from it, he's never been in serious trouble before this.

Mike Vick is a liar. He lied to his teams owner, his leagues commissioner, his teammates and his fans. These guys have there rear ends kissed their whole life because they are good athletes. They think they are invincible. A few unfortunate ones find out the hard way that they are not.

I would respect him more if he would come clean. But I don't want to see him as a QB ever again! He deserves to not ever play football again. I never followed him in the first place.

Hell no! The only reason he is/will be admitting guilt is because he got caught. If he didn't get caught, he would still be shooting, drowning, choking, slamming, and fighting dogs. I hope they put a leash on his *** in the pen and have him fight for his life! Vick used to be one of my fav QB too. Too bad he was exposed and ratted out by his homies.

I wouldn't forgive him, but I never liked him to be fair. I hope he never gets to play in the NFL again. To those who think that Goodell isn't into Law and Order, talk to Odell Thurman(1 year suspension was extended to TWO because Goodell turned down his reinstatement papers).

I'll never forgive Michael Vick simply based on the fact he is/was an Atlanta Falcon. Fluck The Falcons! I'm laughing at your despair. GO SAINTS!
