I mean, not the "end of the world" thing but do they say anything about the possible effects of planetary and sun positions in the December Solstice?

NASA Claims Solar Polar Shift Due In 2012
2013 Apophis heads toward earth, just missing it, but supposed to return 2021 and again in 2036, maybe hitting the earth.

on June 6, 2012 the transit of Venus across the disk of the sun will take place. Solar flares are expected to be much greater. Or are trying to drum up conspiracy revolving around the 2012 delivery due dates on NASA contracts involving select space travel equipment? If you or the nuts who believe this knew anything about government contracts, you would know that they are often awarded in 5 year periods of performance, especially with highly technical contracts. So, let's do some basic math. 2007 + 5 years equals 2012. Yup, must be a conspiracy.

NASA was established in 1958 with the purpose of pioneering the future in space exploration, scientific discovery, and aeronautics research. It has no interests in 2012.
I would strongly discourage visiting 2012 websites as they are spreading a tremendous amount of disinformation. John Major Jenkins is the only reputable author on this subject. If you went to your local library to conduct research, you would find that 99% of what is on 2012 websites is pure fiction.

They plan to land man on the moon once more in 2012, and man on Mars in 2020. Is that what you're asking for?

Saw a good site about this, written by (someone who claimed to be) an astronomer. If there were in fact going to be gravitational and magnetic (i.e. poles switching) effects from the sun/moon/earth alignment - we'd already be feeling them.

NASA like any person with half a brain knows that this whole 2012 thing is just the latest silly notion hatched by a bunch of dreamers. The Mayan calendar only goes to 2012. I would not give much credence to a calendar invented by a bunch of primitive natives that wore bones through their noses and regularly sacrificed chickens and people.

they say that in 2012 it will be 5 years later and your IQ will still be just that 5 and it is possible we might progress or decline but either way what ever happens happens and theres nothing we can do about it
