ya ofcourse indian cricket is climbing the laddders i think Dravid is a good captain and he should remain and I think well Sachin should retire before even the next World cup. I am rally exited to see how Indian Cricket goes on till the next World Cup.I dont think so he will get to captain however he was a good captain but I think now he should have no need to become a captain coz he is performing exceedingly well without he being a captain.I think he has great Courage and determination that he came back in the Indian cricket Team however not as a captain but still he did come.it does not matter how u come but the big thing is to go out of the team with so much controversies surrrounding u and coming back in 1 and a half years amazingggg!!!!!!!!!!
i think people like Sachin should retire by the mid 2008 and let youngsters come up so they can get used to international cricket and then can dream of gettting the World cup.the youngsters will ahve enough time then about 2-2 and a half years to develop themselves.I think it's great

1.All the indian fans are very excited about it.
2. Actually, i am very much elated about the win because they mesmerised the England players that too without a experienced coach. REAllly ! EXCITED.
3. Dravid is maturing into a good captain.
4.Ganguly's batting was out of form that led to the downfall of his captaincy.
5.No, Sachin should leave before the World Cup with dignity and pride.

It was indeed a very good performance of Indian Team which helped them to win a series against England in England afgter 21 years and all Indians should be proud of it.
While Dravid is a reasonably good captain, he is not aggressive as Ganguly used to be. Ganguly lost his captaincy due to his ego problem and poor performance and to get back the captaincy is not possible at this point of time.
As far as Sachin is concerned, I strongly feel that he will retire before 2011 world cup.

well i am not really a india fans...but to tell u the truth dravid is a hell of a captain and sachin and ganguly should retire before the 2016 world cup....cuz give young player the chance

Don't get too carried away.
I would probably agree with you, but I think that letting the English get away with a draw in the third test would have to go down as one of the biggest disgraces in modern sport. Such negative thinking, and negative play, will prevent India gaining a higher place in the rankings. (Remember that England would have won the first test, but for rain.) India should have enforced the follow on, to ensure an emphatic victory, and to win some respect around the world

Thats good for India but I would like to see an increase in ODI section better b'coz if India plays good in ODIs they'll build up for the 2011 WC at home.
Not much but somewhat yes. We are excited and we should congratulate the team for its achievement which is not great but still good.
Dravid is a good captain but not best captain. He is leading India to many series as well as match victories mostly in test cricket e.g. india's win over WI in tests last june in WI (2006), India's 1st test victory over SA at J'burg (December 2006) and now a series victory over Eng in England (last week).
Nothing's wrong with captaincy of Ganguly. Its similar with Sri Lanka, Attapattu was out, Jayawardene took captaincy and even though former returned, Jaya continued.
2016? Will u expect a high-calibre cricketer of a good nation to remain for 9 more years? Do you want him to play @ 43 yrs?

Though they are good players individually they rarely play as a team.
Sachin may play only upto 2011, definitely not after 2011.
The one who forges unity in the team is a good captain.Ganguly was slightly better than Dravid.

Think about Australian Team - They continuosly 3 times won the wcc in 1999-2003 & 2007 when will our indian team will prove its performance like Australia.

Dravid is a better captain than Ganguly. Sachin should retire before 2016 world cup, but he should decide to make some world records.
