Yah simply drain it out the bottom of the cranckcase using the handy drain plug that Briggs and Stratton provided the engine with for just that purpose. It works amazing.

Lean the mower back and under the deck, where the crankshaft end comes out, above/by the blade, there is a drain plug. Use a 3/8 extension and ratchet to remove the plug (on newer ones they are plastic on the older ones they are a metal like pipe plug), drain the oil into a container and replace the plug when all oil has drained out. (This is a good time to remove and sharpen your blade. It takes about the same amount of time to drain as to sharpen and you will only have to get under there once.)

Make sure when you fill the oil you do not overfill.

take the drain plug out. Their is always a plug to drain the oil, look all over and you will find it.
