Without a doubt. And people would buy it too....

here are the words of future democratic Senator John F. Kerry in front of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on April 22, 1971:

They told the stories at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam...

former KGB intelligence officer Ion Mihai Pacepa explained the propaganda tactics of the communists during the Cold War.
Here is a bit of what Pacepa had to say about the Soviet's propaganda campaign in the West:

During the Vietnam War we spread vitriolic stories around the world, pretending that America's presidents sent Genghis Khan-style barbarian soldiers to Vietnam who raped at random, taped electrical wires to human genitals, cut off limbs, blew up bodies and razed entire villages. Those weren't facts. They were our tales, but some seven million Americans ended up being convinced their own president, not communism, was the enemy. As Yuri Andropov, who conceived this dezinformatsiya war against the U.S., used to tell me, people are more willing to believe smut than holiness.

Must be a coincidence

would we have seen them here? probably.. would it have changed the war outcome? probably not.. there was such a pro-war propaganda machine going on here in the US that (even though they were VERY good at propaganda) I doubt the Germans would have been able to do much damage to our moral or to the outcome in general. I mean.. most of the people who don't agree with the Iraq war don't disagree because of something they picked up off the internet... it's from information from radio or TV or newspapers... all venues we had back then as well.

The messages of German and anti-German propaganda would get around, yes, but I don't think it would have impacted the war's outcome.

it wouldn't have made any difference since it was Germany which declared war on America. it might have exposed and even prevented Eisenhower from murdering by starvation over a million German pows after the war .something which Patton wanted to expose ,before his mysterious death and the net then might also have exposed and how the RAF firebombed German cities.
