Yes flicker Is a Part of Yahoo's services. It Is an online photosharing website. If you have cool photos that you want people to see you just upload them onto your profile that you create (which only takes a minute) Others can view your photos and comment on them. Users range from pro photographers, to amatures, to concert goers.

Flickr is an online album where you upload the photos that you want to share with your friends or family or in in the www.
This site is a friendly user site.. now it merge with Yahoo and if you have an xtra account you can sign up and automatically become their pro-account. Which is great, as it normallly charge you like a USD$30.00.

yahoo is deleting Yahoo photos from the server and instead of it providing a new space where you can save your photos.
