If you were born blind how do you have sex?

I understand you can still have sex but you do not know what he or she looks like. He/She could be fat, ugly, or disfigured.They could have one leg or one arm and never tell you. I would just shoot myself or take a lot of tylenol because I could never be able to life without seeing.

Being blind does not mean you are stupid, or can't feel. Some people care more about how a person treats them than if they are beautiful or not.

You might be surprised! If you have always been blind - you just can't see - and you never could see - so what? If you have an injury that causes blindness, you probably had something pretty bad happen and you would be glad to be alive. If you had an accident - same thing.

Becoming blind just like any other disability requires adjustment - and most people do ajust quite well.

I've had blind friends all my life, and even had a blind boyfriend back in the day.

Believe it or not, blind people actually care about looks, but that's very rare. A friend of mine is a total player, smooth talker, and gifted with women... and he's PICKY. Ah, but then again, he had sight before, so he knows what he wants.

For the most part, blind people have sex just like the rest of us do... with heart and mind and body and aromas and touches and sounds, maybe some music, maybe some scented candles (if there's one sighted person involved, that is), etc etc.

Blind people, for the most part, actually can't tell what a person looks like just by feeling their face. Maybe in the movies that works, but not in real life. I've had many blind friends in my lifetime, and have yet to meet one who can tell how a person looks by feeling their face. They don't do it anyway, it's rude and a time waster.
(Btw, "many" blind friends = at least 20 over the years)

People born blind don't see ugly faces, they don't see pretty faces either. They see HEARTS and MINDS. Yes, they can feel one's body - fat, thin, muscular, flabby, one arm, one leg, bald, long hair, etc. Sometimes I think blind people have keener inner vision than the rest of us. Trust me, you wouldn't BELIEVE the stuff they can sense, the stuff they can learn to do with no sight!

Oh yeah, many a blind guy friend has told me that they like a little padding on a woman. Skinny model-types are great if you like the view, but why would any blind guy care about the view, especially during sex? Yes, many a blind guy friend has told me, "Fat is good for sex."

The blind make up for their disability by having strengths in other areas- touch being one of them. Someone born blind would have so much experience with just touching things, they could create their own image in their mind.
They would be able to tell if someone had a missing limb or was disfigured or "fat".

As far as the "ugly", I don't think they would care much. They wouldn't be able to see and unfortunately would never see how that person looks nor any other person- beautiful or "ugly".

Being deprived of sight quite possibly is a boon in so far as you would not be automatically prone to dismiss potential mates on looks alone. This way your mind can paint a picture of a person's essence based on intellect, humor, conversational ability, etc. And if all those things are clicking...you'll find the mind is the most alluring feature of all. Besides...if you were born blind, you have no concept of what the seeing world considers "model perfection" as pertains to beauty, so it is a non-issue.

Yes and that's logical. I wouldn't stand it either, but that's because we weren't born blind. Would you think that a person born blind would wanna die? Blind people have the same perception of the world as non-blind people do, but without vision.

I think a blind person's sexual life would be really the same. They would know how their partner would look like, from descriptions. If the partner deceived them about the looks, a friend or relative would tell them so.

Well most people who are blind or visually impaired have some sight, they are not totally sightless. That's only about one percent of the vi/blind population.

Like most people blind and vi people look for people who are compatible to them, so unless it's just a one night stand , the majority of people grow to love the person they're with and don't think about what they look like , unlike you who seems to have the depth of nail polish.

Your life isn't over yet sweetheart, you might just get what you don't want.

Why would a blind person care what their partner looks like?

Not everyone is like you. A lot of people wouldn't mind having a partner that has lost a limb or is disfigured and not everyone is obsessed with looks either.

Wow, you know nothing about blindness.

People who are blind do see what others look ike, just not in the way you're thinking. Have you forgetten about the other 4 senses? Eyesight is only one of the things that will allow us to find others attractive. Scent, the way their voice sounds, they way they feel, those are all factors. Eyesight isn't everything.

The blind can tell how a person looks just be hearing their voice, they pick up on little things we're not even aware of. Like a voice may sound huskier with someone who is overweight. They also can feel their faces with their hands, and know what they look like. It's not that hard.

I think with that kind of ignorance, you should consider shooting yourself anyway :/

Your either very young or very ignorant. Tylenol would take quite some time to kill you. You'd have to wait for the liver damage to catch up to you.

And believe it or not Toto for the seeing looks just get you interested in a person but the personality is what makes you truly attractive.
