well bu is known for being one of the most expensive schools so dealing with "spoiled people" would not be a factor in deciding between the two. I know bu is well known for its law school, but if you want to major in business Babson College is ranked no. 1 in its entrepreneur program.. yeah that means it beats harvard and every other school. so id go with Babson.. btw every private school has snobby spoiled punks so just discipline yourself and succeed :)

I'm actually an incoming freshman at Boston University. I applied to both school, but in all honesty had no intention of ever going to Babson. I mean no offense to anyone who goes there, but most of what I've heard is that the school atmosphere is simply...weird. Apparently, many of the students are what you'd call very "intellectual" and not very personable. Again, this is all what I've heard--not my personal experience.

Yeah, the pricetag on BU is very steep. That doesn't necessarily mean that everyone is a snob. I'm far from a snob and not even close to being rich in the slightest. The only reason I'm able to even consider the tuition is because I got a nice scholarship (about 40k a year). Despite the pricetag, I'd still have to say that BU is the better choice in nearly any aspect there is, save for a few.

my brother goes to Babson college and it has a great campus and a very good business program. It is a well respected school and when people hear the name they think business. My brother seems very happy with the program and from some of the projects hes had it seems like its a good program. For instance for one of his classes he had to create a product within his group that they would then need to market, produce, and sell on campus. I don't know too much about Boston University, but i would certainly recommend Babson

My brother went to Babson and from what I know did well and had a good time, got a good business education. And we are not "rich" or snobby. Of course, he graduated in the early 70's so things may have changed. ;-)

If you think there's any chance you might change your mind and do something besides business, then BU. Otherwise, it depends if you want a big urban school or a small suburban school.
