True, true; but add on the fact that you'll be going to college next week and all through winter and to get there you have to drive up and down monster hills with a crappy car that skids on the pavement in rain, let alone snow!!!

In the part of Texas that I live our winter lasts a few weeks with cooler days and tons of sunshine, Anythings below 65 degrees is chilly for us,
Summer is a killer here but I woulnd not trade it to live in the snow areas,,,been there done that came back home~

I don't mind the cold and the end of summer means that my kids will be back to school soon, which means I'll have more time to myself. But the oldest is starting college so I won't see him very much anymore:(

You can't imagine how happy I feel about it!! In my country summers are really hot, this year the temperatured reached 45 degrees! I can't stand it anymore! I really missed winter and the weather in the winter is not hard, as unfortunately it doesn't rain much...
Things are getting worse with the climate in our planet... :(

Wow, I didn't realize we were that far into August until I read your question and looked at my calendar. Scary ain't it? Actually, there won't be any snow here because I live in Georgia, lol! I'll just be glad to get away from this 115 degree heat!

Well, I am sad and am already shivering. I am from Michigan, so I suppose I should feel blessed that the weather has held up this long, as normally Michigan weather is unpredictable, 80 one day, snowing the next... *Big Sigh* oh well....

im trying to enjoy it as much as i can. I hate winter, snow, and wearing heavy coats. its so annoying. I wish i lived in a place that you could wear flip flops all year round, that would be the best!

Cold weather barely phases me. I can deal with blistering heat, too. I'm just grateful to finally be out of hurricane country.
