In a memo to senior producers this afternoon, FNC's SVP of programming, Bill Shine announced the network "will not continue the Half Hour News Hour beyond its current 15 episode run."

This show was supposed to be a conservative version of 'The Daily Show'. Why is it being cancelled?
1) The Daily Show is funny because it's true, not because it has a liberal bias.
2) If you're on the Fox Network, you just ain't funny.
3) Reality has a liberal bias.
4) Conservatives are more of a joke than liberals.
5) Conservatives prefer rage and fear to humor.
6) The Fox Network itself is already a parody.

6. The only thing they could do that would actually be funny is report the news straight up. They couldn't do it for even a half hour. Hell, they can't even do an unbiased Weather Report. But, watching them strain to avoid the urge to spin would be hilarious

Their unhappy little attempt to compete with satirical information courses will fade to black quickly adequate. i do no longer see how they could arise with something greater hilarious than the different 23 and a 0.5 hours an afternoon that are working now...

I would say it was because the people who created the show aren't aware that a half hour and an hour are different lengths of time.

1. Libs need the Daily Show because they think thats the real news.
2. Cons don't need it because they are well aware of what is going on.
3. I love FOX NEWS and the way these nutcases from the far left hop around trying NOT to answer questions. The obvious never enters their minds because fairy tales don't work that way.
4. And like an extremely enlightened person on here just said we are constantly reminded the other 23.5 hours of the day how far behind the curve the far left really is. Brilliant!!!
