If you mean is there a legal definition, I can't find one. However, The Little People of America (LPA) define dwarfism as an adult height of 148 cm (4 feet 10 inches) or less. Also known as nanism. Dwarfism is now more correctly called short stature.

ive heard anyone 4 foot 10 inches in height or less is considered a dwarf legally. And(to the first answerer) there needs to be a legal definition of dwarfism because otherwise, any "short" person could get a handicap sticker, or financial aid for disabilities, etc.
