luggage roof rack question?

Reading about a roof rack accessory and in the user comments it said "was meant for a 4 point roof rack and I have a 2 point roof rack" any idea what a 2 point roof rack or a 4 point roof rack is? How can I tell which one I have?

Four points means it connects to 4 points of strength on the roof.

make sure it fits and fits well
if you are driving 50-60 do not want to lose the cargo
