It will power up but nothing shows on the screen, i tested another monitor and it still didnt show anything. The power supply broke before and we put in a new one. i can hear everything power up.

It has:
intel pentium 4 processor 1.8 ghz
512 mb ram
80gb hard drive
64mb video card

Reseat the ATX power connector on the motherboard. If the motherboard has a 4 pin 12V ATX socket, something from the power supply should be plugged there. Some motherboards will work even if 12V ATX is not connected if processor used is low wattage but will NOT usually work with >65 watt processors.

On my old computer i overclocked it to the max for fun and blew it up. So if you overclocked it that would be why because thats same what happened to me if not it sounds like your computer was bought a number of years ago so maybe a part just gave up. So either go get it checked buy an expert to see what died then buy those parts or go buy a new computer.

When you start it up do u hear any warning beeps?
