Vending machines can be over 600 lbs so you wouldn't want one coming down on you unless you're ready for the after life.

.....hmmm a safer technique would be to attach fishing line to the ceiling tiles and pull the down on yourself ... then pull the wire quickly into you pocket as you fall noisily to the floor.
"Head" injuries are good ... as they can 'act up' in the future like on next Friday for example.

It's supposed to be fatal if a vending machine falls on you; they have this warning printed on the sides of most.
