can i keep my cell number?

my phone got disconnected by mom a week ago.. and my dad wants to get me one can i still keep that number i had on my old one if i change services..

so,you're staying with your dad now,,just get a new number and inform your friends about that,it'll costless than change service.

you can but it's complicated and costly. first you'll have to reinstate service with your old provider and request that number back. It'll have to be put under the same name and account that you had previsouly. then port your number to a different provider. this will cost you an early termination fee.

if you had pre-paid, then no. there is no way to get your number back once the service was cancelled.

but tell you mother so she does not get an early termination fee.
