Dude Jefferson Airplane was like awsome man! Like their 'Surrealistic Pillow' album is still mind blowing after all these years! They we're insane! Not to mention that Grace Slick marked a milestone with her voice along with peer Janis Joplin! Not forgetting Jorma's virtuoso performance on 'Embryonic Journey' and the classics 'White Rabbit' and 'Somebody to love'.

I love Jefferson Airplane!
It's an amazing band with an amazing history. You'd be surprised to see how many early artists it influenced and braught to fame. All the way down the road from it's beginning, to Jefferson Starship, and now just Starship, it's quite the tale. I actually saw "Starship" in concert last month. They played some J.A. songs, and the singer really hits the notes just as good as Grace Slick did.
Yes, you'd really like White Rabbit. It's one of the most psychedelic songs of the 60s.

They had some nice moments. I liked White Rabbit and Somebody to Love. Of course since you insist on being 80schick, you should be forced to listen to their 80's reincarnation as Starship. That was a fall from grace (slick) to say the least.
