I have nothing to do for the next 7 hours...do youknow any cool sites..games...informative reading sites...anything...
What do you do in your spare time at work..

I would gladly do something productive...however i seriously do not have anything to do today. I'd rather work in a fast paced environment with less pay...i want to do everything possible for the company..but there is absolutely nothing to do today...btw i am an HR personal and a recruiter...see how ironic this sounds..

that happens with me a lot ... spend sometime answering question, viewing some video clips at www.youtube.com , or some pictures at www.flickr.com , or reading some jokes, comics and new from yahoo...

You're saying you have nothing to contribute to your job except your presence? I never heard of having seven hours of spare time on a job. Sure, you can find all sorts of amusements on line, but wouldn't you feel a little bit guilty doing something as unproductive as that? Where is your boss? Doesn't he or she have something for you to do, other than sit and play games, and get paid for it? If not, let me know when they are hiring! (just kidding). Actually, the only spare time I ever had at work was during two 15-minute breaks and a lunch hour.

Whether you work in an office, a bar, a casino, a store, a restaurant, a factory, drive a truck/bus/cab, or any place else--there is always something that could be done that is work related. That's what makes the day go by faster--doing something productive for your place of business.
I'm not saying you couldn't make a couple of personal phone calls, or play solitaire on the computer, or even answer a few questions--but do something for the people who sign your check.

Wow. What kind of job do you have? Does your company know they are paying you to sit around doing nothing and getting bored?
Maybe you should find a new job, or else start thinking of things you can do on your job that will make a difference for your company (or customers) and maybe get a nice raise or a promotion!

when I am absolutely bored...i just listen to my MP3 player and write the lyrics to the song...it's a lot of pausing and rewinding....but it keep me busy
