do you remember the fortune tellers name, etc. they should be shot. that is outright fraud. but why would anyone pay so much? he must have a lot of faith in the jerk, so i dont know if you can convince him that you know better. maybe try to reason with him that no decent person would charge so much for that kind of information. there must be a law against it, too. all best wishes, deva

This is more than tragic... especially because he believes is such nonsense. But I think now is too late to talk about that and we should talk about helping your friend. If there`s no other way to convince your friend that psychic readings are frauds (and I really mean NO OTHER WAY) maybe you can try to convince him by using the same methods. What I`m saying is that maybe you could take him to a different "fortune teller" or, even to the same one, with whom you can talk in advance (and yes maybe even paying him in advance) to tell him that he`s going to live a long and fruitful life! Talking with a psychologist may be more than useful for your friend but if he`s not willing... you should try this method. I know that it`s cheap and it might not feel right but sometimes everything is worth it in order to save a friend. If he deeply believes is such things maybe they are the only means to "cure" him.
I wish you all the best and no matter what you decide to do I hope it will come out well and your friend will be better again!

Ah a fool of the fotune telling trade. I bet the fortune teller asked if you wanted having the curse removed for an extra fee! Seriously the only time these people are right is when they say something really vague, don't let it ruin her life and prove to her that it hardly ever comes true.
I was once told for free by a fortune teller that I was going to die in 6 months. That was 7 years ago! Seriously don't be fooled by them they are expecting you to pay and come back!
Find evidence and please don't waste any more money. Use my story as an example and find other people that have similar experiences and show her them!
Good Luck

Sahara, tell him that only god can make someone die or live. A fortune teller is a lier. They only said something that can make them get some money for eat. One thing, God make rules in this world. Do you know, many doctors said to their clients, "you'll die next year" or "next month". But in the fact, their client still a live 20 years later. They are only 'fortune' teller, so they just have a hipotetion, not a real news from other world. BELIEVE TO GOD, NOT TO A STUPID FORTUNE TELLER!

Well in one way the fortune teller was right......he WILL die, but the question is when? If the fortune teller said he will die in a week, THEN you can believe this to be fraudulent because God only know when you will die. By the way $500.00 to a fortune teller is way too much. I wouldn't pay a fortune teller one red cent.

There is already something wrong in his life if he paid $500.00 to a fortune teller. He will prove the fortuneteller correct if he continues in the path of which he is going. Good luck to you and your friend, sounds like he needs professional help.

You might try reporting this psychic to the police. Some towns actually have laws against such people operating. It's considered the same as being a con artist.
Unfortunately, it's difficult to convince someone who believes in supernatural forces that a psychic is wrong or unethical, so sometimes you have to react in the only way they can understand.
A few possible suggestion to work with the "power of suggestion"? Get a Seven African Powers candle (available in many Hispanic markets), and have him burn this candle and tell him it is powerful enough that it will lift any sort of curse and extend his life...or find a "health, healing and hapiness" type of spell...and work it in his presence. There are plenty of such spells online.
Sure, it's a bit misleading but sometimes a bit of "reverse psychology" works...and you're doing it because you care the person...so it's not wrong.

The fortune teller is a fake. All fortune tellers are fake. No one pays that much money to go see a fortune teller. And even if it is real, just make him live life to the fullest! But I don't think he's going to die.
