Many of the Doors songs give off an "eerie" vibe. I think what it stems from is Jim Morrison (lead singer of the band). He was heavy into drugs, especially LSD. He recorded some "music" of his own, or in other words, himself talking, when he was on acid. It's some weird, yet insightful stuff. Well, some of it is just weird. But it seems to me that he expanded his mind so far that.. he seemed to "know things" other people couldn't fathom. He worked this idealogy into his music and voice when playing with the Doors. The way in which he died.. the life that he lived.. in a way, I guess, is eerie.

Riders on the Storm is very creepy when you're home alone at night and it's thundering outside. It makes you really feel like there is a killer out on the road.
Like everyone said, The End is pretty creepy
Strange Days can also be kinda creepy, especially the organs and Jim Morrison's distorted vocals.

The Doors' oddity is what makes them so original and so unique and soooo damn good. I love how most of their songs have a melancholy feel or an eerie feelings. However, the Doors have songs that are pure peices of rock and roll, like Roadhouse Blues.

Some are eerie, but in a good way. One of my favorites is "Not to Touch the Earth", which is a kind of dark song, but soooo good.

I don't think any of their songs are creepy. Its just your point of view and what you're used to in music. Like if you are used to pop music of course its creepy. But otherwise its no creepier than any other music. I'm used to old skool rock so personally I think that todays rock and rap songs are very creepy. It just depends on your preference and what you're used to. Plus the image you may have of Jim Morrison thats in your mind could effect the way you hear his voice, making it more creepy or more kind.

The song "The End" gained newfound fame from the movie Apocalypse Now and has a haunting feel to it. "Waiting For The Sun" has a sort of dreamlike quality to it if you ask me. Judge for yourself.. and enjoy the Doors many awesome tunes!!
