I'm 13 years old and I live in SW Wisconsin. I'm going to babysit a 3 year old for 3 days all day and I don't know a reasonable price to charge per hour. Any help?

I charge five dollars an hour. I would recommend charging between five and seven dollars an hour, especially if you have experience. When you have an idea talk to the parents and make sure they agree before you begin sitting. Take fun things to do with you like books and play dough, and the child will love you and behave and the parents will ask you to come back again.

First off, how much experience do you have with 3 year olds, or do you know this kid well enough (like since he was born?) to be able to play with him and feed him and chase after him?
My 'one and only' babysitting job was for 6 hours, 2 kids and I got a whopping $6. Wasn't gonna do that again.
Babysitting rates when I needed them came from neighborhood kids at about a buck an hour, but that was also a long time ago.
Well, I can put my dog in a kennel for $15 a day, so I'd say charge $60 for the whole job... Yeah, I know kids and dogs are two different animals, but ya gotta feed both, clean up after them.. something similar.

I may suggest $6 an hour. In the state of Wisconsin, the minimum wage for minor is $5.90. I am sure your client would not mind rounding off. In addition, you sounded like this is the first time you babysit. This will be a reasonable price for someone babysit the first time.

I would not pay 6.00 an hour
but maybe $2.00 for that service
but if you can get 6, ask for it!
