how can i make a game official like and mlb game or nba?

i made up a game called hitball and i want to turn it into a major sport call major league hitball(mlh) but i dont know how to do it or if it is even possible, can someone answer both of these questions for me?

You should find out if it's going to be worthwhile, so you might want to try playing it with some trustworthy friends.

If it turns out to be a "hit" (no pun intended), then try expanding it with more people, eventually leading to a "league", more or less, and then, hopefully, it'll catch someone's eye (not unlike the so-called 'X' games).

Regardless, you can always get it copyrighted, to protect your idea, and then take it from there.

However, for the record, I put "hitball" into a search engine, and got LOTS of results, the most obvious being in the link, below, so you'll need to change the name. :,(
