I am a Ravens fan but then again no offense I was a Baltimore Colt fan back in the day and even though the Ravens are carving out thier own legacy how I wish we could have the Colt name and colors back. I don't think the Ravens are as hated as you think. But they have always had thier share of very vocal and sometimes thug like players. When Ray Lewis was not convicted of a murder back in 2000 alot of people thought he was guilty and that brought some negative feelings. Today alot of folks do not like Terrell Suggs because they think he is a loudmouth. Plus Baltimore lured the Browns to come here and were accused of doing the same thing that Indy did to Baltimore. Everyone loved the Browns at the time as they are kind of the lovable losers in sports. I would not have minded if the Browns kept thier name and colors in Baltimore - I like them. The Ravens are still considered a medium size franchise and just are not that well thought of outside the mid atlantic region. I once wore a Ravens jersey to a trip to Arkansas and not one person knew who they were! I think the Patriots are pretty hated because they are always good every year and and so are the Cowboys because of thier owner. I personally do not like the Redskins. The Steelers do not bother me - I respect thier toughness and the city that backs them are great hard working people.
