NO WAY are they over-rated!!!
I am sure this is a generational thing, because I certainly never
got into Frank Sinatra or whoever....I grew up in the sixties and, being female and 14 in 1964, I definitely went crazy for the Beatles.... and especially Paul, of course....
Infact, this past Monday...August 13, 1966...was the 41st ann. of when I saw my first and only Beatles' concert in Detroit.... It was a wonderful and happy time for me and for so many other
Beatle fans....meaning the whole BEATLES era...especially 1964 through 1966....You had to be there....and I am so very grateful that I did get to grow up when I did.... =)

From the Magical Mystery Tour to Let It Be - when the group began to disintegrate - they are; much of the music is quite disappointing. But from A Hard Day's Night to Sergeant Pepper's.....the music is groundbreaking, with the studio production paving a revolutionary path in pop music. The first couple of albums were the R&B influences that any number of UK bands were performing in clubs and on vinyl.

I loathe young children. What would you rather listen to? That little gypsy Hannah Montana? The Beatles are the bomb! People need to get a better taste of music.

i think paul mccartney is slightly bearable now that he's by himself but man I HATE them. They are so annoying. so yes they are overrated.

Music-wise I don't like all of their songs, but I do think they meant a lot for the music-business.
