Too bad they don't put them on milk cartons like they used to. Of course the milk cartons are plastic now, but I would think they could come up w/ something else. I am aware that there are a lot of missing ppl, but I don't know an exact #. It is really sad for the families of those ppl. I used to have a friend (lost touch w/ her) whose sister disapeared in Indiana some yrs. ago. They still don't know what happened to her. I think the worst ones are the children. Those families really live through hell. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

I do give the missing kids posters a 'once over' when I see them just in case I do happen to see one.
Then I say a little prayer for there safety !
If I think about things like that too much I'd loose my mind !

No. It's pointless unless they're a member of your immediate family. Some people are missing because they WANT to be missing (in other words, they're hiding). Others are missing because someone ELSE wanted them to be missing. Then there are those who get abducted by aliens...

yeah. Sometimes. Not often but I usually get these little missing people things in the mail. I look at them. you never know I might see them and have to call the police.

there are a lot of missing people including but not limited to the armed forces, crime victims, abducted children and adults, murder victims, airplane, automobile, train and other crashes, mining accidents, etc. there are numberless ways in which people become missing and sadly there are only a few who reach the newspapers.
