i talked to my boyfriend about his goals in the next 5 years (see previous question) i made sure it was during one of his favorite programs on television, he seems to tell the truth when he wants me to shut up so he can waste time watching tv... he said a few things and also said that he hoped when the time was right we'd get married within the next 5 years :)))
so what y'all think?
i shouldnt start plannin a wedding and all i know but what ya think? i want it sooner than later but id respect his wishes.. when do you think he wants to wait till ? i dont wanna push it and ask him but i wanna brag to my friends with something more than a 5 year goal plan that has me in it :)

it's already been three years, so waiting five more seems a little excessive..have a real conversation with him and find out what he really thinks. you also might want to tone down the whole "i want his last name and i want to be married to him so bad" thing because that's probably freaking him out a little.

He has no real plans of marrying you; he just said that to shut you up. Five years???
You need to leave him and find someone else who is interested in getting married if that is what you want.If you just want to hang out with a guy,then your current bf is the right guy for that.

Having to interrogate your boyfriend and ensuring that his favorite television show is on so you'll receive the correct response is comical. Why don't I check my crsytal ball or read the bones? That would be much more telling.
Just this whole question you've written speaks volumes.

Gosh - no wonder guys get cold feet and go running and screaming in the opposite direction.
Sounds like you LOVE the idea of a wedding and being able to BRAG about it to your girlfriends more than you love HIM !

i think you are getting waaaay to excited and he hasn't even asked you yet! you need to slow down you never know what will happen within the next five years
