I have made a statement to yahoo on why should we have a reggae, and soca/calyspo section included in the music section. Lately I have seen alot of people asking for the section, which we should have. Here is my statement I made to them. If you agree with me, star my question.
Hello. I am Sa_San on Yahoo! Answers. I really enjoy going on yahoo answers to answer questions, as well as getting my questions answered. Lately, there has been a debate about having a reggae section and a soca section added to the music catergory. There are alot of people on here from the Caribbean, and people who like the music as well, that would like to see these two catergoies added to the music section. It gets hectic at times to get our questions answered when it's buried deep in either the r&b section, the hip-hop section, the Jamaica section, or the Trinidad and Tobago section. By having this seperate section for these two genres of music, it would make it easier for us to answer questions, ,as well as ask questions. So please, consider putting these two catergories up. Thank You!

I am hoping that they would actually consider adding these catergories. There are alot of us that love soca, calyspo, and reggae, and would like to receive more responses to our questions.

Well said! Perhaps if we all wrote something similar, they would get the message. Like you, I hate having to trawl through the hip-hop and lyrics section to find the music I love. I never thought to look in the Jamaica/Trindad &Tobago sections.

I agree with what you are saying..... I need to hear about reggae music, calypso and soca b'caz they are the best musi in the Caribbean! Good Luck, hopefully, we'll get the section! I'm from Jamaica hehe
