My own feeling is - why not? They already have 100 US senators and over 500 congressmen. Why not a few more?

And at least they'll be paying taxes into the US treasury, instead of getting 4 billion dollars a year from taxpayers in the other 50 states.

If you wish to reply, at least get your facts straight. Egypt is only our second biggest aid recipient, 2 bil a year. And they got it for securing Israel western flank with a treaty. "Anti-Semite is a term used by those who wish to stifle debate on an important issue." - Barnabas Jones

They get more assistance, a proposed 30 billion dollar military assistance, than most of our unemployed do. What the hell do I care about Israel.. Live by the nuke, die by the Iranian nuke. There I said it and I don't care. There are plenty of other nations that don't receive anywhere near as much aid as Israel. As a matter of fact since 911 Israel has made a whopping amount of money selling anti-terrorist units and devices to the United States. Peace sells but whose buying. If you want serious answers ask a serious question. As far as I am concerned the only reason we give so much aid to Israel is to perpetuate a biblical myth with the United States acting as the Judeo Christian support group for a bunch of racist, inhumane, provoking jews.

""Anti-Semite is a term used by those who wish to stifle debate on an important issue." - Barnabas Jones"

And that is a phrase used by anti Semites to shield themselves from criticism especially when the said criticism ties to point out the obvious, namely that they have said something anti Semitic.

So, let us parse what you have just said, ok?
You say that They, referring to Israel, have over 100 senetors and 500 congressman. Yet, to my knowledge, not a single of these people are actually Israeli citizens. And even if they were, they wouldn't be in capacity of being a representative of Israel.
So, what in the world do you mean? Oh, that's right you forgot to say "Jews". You mean Jewish senators and Jewish congressmen!
So, basically what you are saying is that these people are not in their own capacity as Americans representing Americans in politics, but that merely because they are Jews they automatically represent another country.
Its the classical "dual loyalty" canard commonly employed by, guess who, that's right, anti semites!

So, yes, what you just said was anti semitic. Hope you're happy I cleared that up for you.

devoid of finding at your link.... could Israel/51st state incorporate the West financial business enterprise or no longer. If no longer ought to the Palestinians shoot the Wetbacks (drybacks) that invade their territory on a daily basis. could Israel enable Palestinians to mount watchtowers and border controls alongside the wall. could usa know Palestine as a democracy suffering to maintain sovereignty against a fascist territory -grabbing, ethnic-cleansing neighbour. united statesa. does by no potential do something like this because of the fact "the land of the the unfastened" replaced into stolen from the "brave"s. in case you'll be a hypocrite, you may besides do it a hundred%. permit's make the middle East risk-free for American weapons makers..... Oops, with Egypt, Tunisia perhaps Yemen, Bahrain, Saudi etc it ought to have neglected a mark. or perhaps it incredibly is going to say, " we desire Israel as a bulwark against China." Israel is the anchor of wisdom in this middle east area and all US governments knew that a strong ISRAEL (the island of democracy in the M.E) is the security to the US and to the world.
you can be sure that no body pays billion of dollars without the the possibility to be re-payed.

Me thinks you really do not want that headache, and instead your simply making a jab at American-Israeli relations.

fair enough you are entitled to your opinion.

But I can bet you the moment you do that a quarter of Israelis and 2/3 of Palestinians will flood into the US looking for a better living standard.

If you wish to do that, then by all means.

Egypt gets as much funding as Israel. Are you an anti semite? Israel is our only ally in the Middle East and the only democracy in the region.
