The Best Trade in NFL History, to me, is the Hershel Walker Trade by Dallas, they cashed in two years later, 3 out of 4 Rings to be exact. When the Cowboys traded Herschel Walker to the Vikings for a ransom of draft picks and other players (a somewhat complicated trade), the players Dallas ultimately drafted directly or indirectly via that trade included Emmitt Smith, Russell Maryland, Darren Woodson, and Kevin Smith; all players who helped the 'Boys win multiple SBs. Vikings fans might say that trade set them back for years, but it was a key ingredient to the '90's 'Boys dynasty.

Ok you mean Worst and I guess you never heard of the Walker to the Vikings and in return the Cowboys get 3 rings in 4 years. What like 3 1st round picks 3 2nd round picks, a third round pick or 2 and a bunch of players. It is in the Hall of Fame as dumbest Trade ever made.

the Bears trading Thomas Jones for a second round pick, than trading that pick for a DE that will be on IR in two weeks. At least the Falcons had Vick for a while. He sold out games and sold Millions in merchandise.

Brett Favre for the rights to that runningback that did nothing! The Herchel Walker trade was terrible too!
Atlanta now has two of the worst three ever!

It has to be the Brett Favre trade. Hands down, favre was traded for a first round pick that was eventually used on runningback Tony Smith, who didnt do anything.

even though eli manning is o.k. trading philip rivers and the pick of shawne merriman is a extreamly lopsided trade and is one of the great steals of all time.
when i wrote my answer the previous response was not posted yet.
the ricky williams trade of a entire draft and 1st and 3rd next year is a classic also.
