I usually start a couple days ahead of time & hopefully I won't forget anything!!!

I picture like the day of the trip is one day before the real date, so I do everything I need done, one day in advance. Then, when the date of the trip closes in, I'm totally free of stress and I use the time to exercise, go out and eat at a nice place, or just do about anything stress-free and relaxing I fancy doing, so I'm totally refreshed by the time I have to actually go on the trip.

We go on vacation about twice a year. Which usually consists of a cruise or a trip to Washington State which is about 2600 miles one way. I start packing about a month out. Then I know what I will need to buy and I make sure that nothing gets forgotten. Also, I get so excited packing is part of the adventure. I would of loved to have said that I have a butler that packs for my family but nah it's just me. My hubby packs for himself and usually waits till the night before to do it. Drives me insane.

I'm always so excited to go on the trip I pack everything like a week early, wanting the trip to sooner. I remember when I was five and we were going to Disney World, I kept bugging my mom if it was time to pack yet. Then when the day came I was so excited!

I'm going through this right now!! I pack "in my head" for days before I actually have to pack. Now we're leaving tomorrow to go on a trip in the Motor Home and I have to do most of the actual packing myself. My husband is the "stasher". He can make it all fit in the Motor Home and we can still get to what we need!

It is a combination of last minute and my spouse does it for me. I'm responsible for all the "gear" like camera and camcorder stuff.

I write out a list of items I'll need, ahead of time.
At the last minute, I'm running around, throwing things into the suitcase, crossing them off the list.

i take my time so i dont have to rush at the last minute because if u do it at the last minute you might miss your flight or you might forget to pack something.
