You had a three month break. Why isn't that fair? Did you know that when you get a job, you're lucky to get four personal days off during the year?

I don't think it's fair either.
Fair would be that I get at least a vacation once in a while, and for you kids to work harder during the summer.
I had to work every day growing up and now you all get to goof off and hang out with friends, not to mention playing computer games and watching TV.
We got two channels, and a game was whacking your brother with a stick.

You think that isn't fair, My son started the 14th of August. The Schools seem to start school earlier every year. Your Parents work and you get to go to school. When you become a parent, you will wish you were back in school. belive me I do.

umm..hmm for being unfair, i would try something a little bit more realistic in the sense that there are people in the world that would love to be in your shoes. They would rather go to school all their lives, than having to deal with the nonsense that they are faced with in the world, and households.
Think about not having a secure place to live, or an alcholic mother, or being paralized for the rest of your life??
Now that, could be listed under not being fair.
enjoy life, and educatin, without it, it is difficult to get anywhere without flipping hamburgers over a hot grill, and your trademark of the day is "Welcome to McDonalds, can i take your order?"
Don't take little things like going to school early as being "unfair" there are worst things in life,

I have it the first or second week of Sept. If you have school in August, that probably means that you get out of school earlier than people that go back to school after you. No biggie.

School years are 180 days of class days. Vacations, weather days, and holidays don't count. Some schools start earlier and end earlier, but all schools go 180 class days.

So what's the question?
You're starting school on a Thursday, you're lucky you only have a 2 day week. I start the 20th.

Fair? My child, you're still in school and largely protected from the world. You have no idea how unfair the world really is.

Of course it is fair. I had to go through school, and so do you. Suck it up and finish, you'll thank your lucky stars that you'll be able to go to college to get more schooling to be able to get a decent job.
