Today - LT
Past Decade - Barry Sanders
Any answer other than Sanders....or perhaps Walter Payton...is simply incorrect. Emmitt got to run behind one of the best lines in history but the same cannot be said for Payton and Sanders. Dallas also had some serious offensive firepower to take pressure off of Smith; the Bears and Lions did not.

Today: LaDanien Tomlinson. Class act, by far the best RB in the NFL today.
Past Decade: Either Emmitt Smith or Barry Sanders. Toss up. Both were incredible.

Today is definitely LT, everyone agrees there.
But the past decade, there is no way you cannot vote for Barry Sanders, he is the greatest RB ever. He would own the rushing yards record by a ton of yards if he didn't retire early.

Well best RB today is LT and he will be the best ever but of the past decade it is Barry Sanders because he had no one on his team and he took them to the NFC championship and ran for 15,269 in only 9 years of pro football and he won a Heisman Trophy so the best RB of all time right now but not for long is Barry Sanders.

Today it is LT. The past decade it would have to be Barry Sanders. Think of it this way Barry's teams always sucked and yet we all new his name. He was classy and there was never an ill word spoke about him and he was always humble with every touchdown. A lot like LT.

People today are a lot more tolerant than people in past decades. But there are still a lot of unpleasant people out there. And the newspapers still have to be sold.

LaDanian Tomlinson, hands down. He is the heart and soul of the Chargers and was co-sportsman on the year last season for his charity work off of the field. Oh, yeah, he can kind of play, too. He may go down as the best ever when it's all said and done.
