Easiest instrument - tamborine. Hardest - Bayan (Type of chromatic button accordion used frequently in Russia) But really any instrument is hard to play well and easy to play badly. Not really a good question.

i play piano...i used to play clarinet too -- but then i quit. on the bright side, i can chew gum while playing the piano.
