Love doesn't hurt. It's the lack of love that hurts. After you know how real love feels, it's like an incurable addiction. You hurt when you don't have the love you want. Some times when I'm not with her I get this physical pain in my chest and stomach.

Like you say sometimes it is the situation that hurts and not the fact that there is love involved although it depends on how deep you are. Some relationships I have been in have affected me badly after due to the fact I cared too much . Weird I know but it is possible.
By the way I have noticed you ask some amazing questions.

Because nobody is perfect and sometimes they hurt someone unintentionally. So yes sometimes love does hurt and yes it is the actual love that hurts because if you weren't in love with the person then when they did something not so nice to you, you would be like whatever have a nice life.

Love is an emotion, any emotion can "hurt" you if you let them.I think most people dwell on the what could have beens, and what should have beens, making it impossible to get over.
Sure, if you love someone, and ya breakup, it's ganna hurt, but usually because people think about the things they did wrong, or the things their partner did wrong...Just get over it. It's hard, but can be done if you really wanna get through it without wanting to slit your wrists.
I love love.

Love doesn't hurt. People don't hurt each other. People feel hurt by another. It's the way the person feels and how they choose to feel in response to others that causes pain.

You are so right love does not hurt...Love is beautiful. people just sometimes hurt each other for some reason or another then blame it on love.

Well child bearing hurts a lot and so does seeing the person you love grow old get sick and die and you also become vunlerable to so much pain when you are in love... if they don't like you, if those feelings are not returned, if you have to work to keep them (my cousin worked out for 3 hours a day to keep her boyfriend happy) and she wasn't sure that she wanted to be with him in the first plce.

It hurts them because that is what they believe love is about, they do not expect anything else and therefore they attract the people who hurt them. They believe that they are not worth any thing else.

If Love is what you feel in your heart, and that deep emotional feeling seems to be centered in the middle of your being, and when it overwhelms you that all you want to do is ball your fist and hold it to your chest, Then yes, that is love, and it can hurt.

Love is wonderful... it's when the love goes wrong that the hurting starts.
