Very simple, my friend, because if you practice, you may become perfect (reach the top of having no flaws) at some point time and in some specific area of knowledge or physical ability, but you will never be perfect all the time in a specific area/physical ability and much less as a whole (in every aspect of your being). That's why nobody is perfect (only God, according to religious people, but he's not a "somebody", anyways).
So that's why you should practice, if one day you wish to become perfect in some specialty of knowledge or physical ability, for a very limited period of time, until somebody else comes along and does better than you in the same field, upgrading the standard of perfection you set before. But if you don't practice, you will never be perfect at anything, you will always be a mediocre with no aspirations whatsoever.

haha..cuz maybe you can only be perfect in One thing, and thats why you practise only that???
if you practised evry single thing you did...loving, cooking, math, teniis, sports, etc... then yea you would be really close to perfect..but can any one practise every single thing they do???
