what's the difference between a quadriplegic and a paraplegic?

i have a broken neck, what am i?
i can walk, limited use of arms ,have sex,work on my computer,do almost the same thing as if i was'nt hurt
go to the movies. ? what can a quadriplegic do where as a paraplegic cannot do

Paraplegics and quadriplegics have nerve damage that keeps them from being able to perform basic motor skills.

Paraplegics motor skills are limited in their lower extremities.

Quadriplegics motor skills are limited from their neck/shoulders down.

You are neither if you can walk, have some use of your arms, and pretty much do all the same things you did before because that's an obvious sign that you didn't sustain enough nerve damage to keep you from being mobile.

You seem to be just paralized.

a paraplegic means you have no use of your legs (you stated you can walk)

a quadriplegic has no use of all of your limbs (legs and arms:all 4:quad. (you wouldnt be this either cause you can walk and have limited use in arms.

your broken neck may be limiting your arms for the moment and both my be ok. if not you could be parshly paralized. I would deff go back to the doctor.

Quadriplegic- is where they are paralyzed from the neck down. Paraplegic- is where they are paralyzed from the waist down. And since you can walk you are neither. You would be wheelchair bound.

quad means that there is no or very limited use of arms and legs. basically, anything from the neck down. paraplegic means the legs or from the waist down. there are varying degrees in both.
