I bought a MaxFactor one, supposed to be waterproof and after a few eyes, my eyes are black. NOT just my eyelashes.

Rimmel, volume flash waterproof or lycra lash...I prefer the lycra lash...it looks great and even with my allergies doesnt rub off...also make sure it's not your liner, and if you use cool matte mousse foundation, it keeps your skin oil free, so the oil does not make the make-up smear.

I had that same problem - I have tried every waterproof and they all leave me with black under my eyes, even if I didn't use them on my bottom lashes.
I have found only three mascaras that work for me - and I can actually wear them on my BOTTOM lashes! They work differently than regular mascara in that they actually form "tubes" around each lash, and don't come off unless you apply warm water and pressure with your fingers. My lashes have actually seemed healthier since I began using tube mascara. The three brands are:
Blinc Kiss Me mascara
Mirenesse Secret Weapon mascara
Tube Your Lash mascara (least expensive)
I usually try to get them on eBay to save a little $$$ - you can usually find a trial size on eBay to just try it out before buying if you wish.

I use some mascara my Revlon. Its cheap and lasts a long time. It dos't have acertain name that I know of, its ina mauvey colored holder. Good luck! I hate mascara that rubs off, its really annoying...And messy.

i use define-a-lash and it is awesome even though it is not waterproof it doesnt rub off it dries and looks great!
