Well, these are different kinda cases. A Felony is a Felony. Do the crime, etc etc etc... As far as child rapist are concerned, yeah, for the mental hell that the put children through for the rest of their lives (which will be longer then the scumbags') there should be much harsher punishments. In Puerto Rico, the Police let the other inmates know when such a person is put into the jail. Justice is kinda served.
As far as Vic is concerned, let him rot. It's a shame he loses his lively-hood, but even Christ had to die as a wake-up call to the masses. (not to say he's anywhere near Christ status)
I don't think Donaghy will serve 25 years, that's just the max.

Do you really think he ref will get 25 years? And I don't like child reapist no more than you do, but h*ll they let murderers out on probation. Child rapist and other sexual offenders, even if they serve their complete sentence, still have to go on a sex offender registry, not live within a 1000 yards of a school, report their residence to the local authorities, etc.

Guess what. Most states have a form of structured sentencing which sets the lower and upper limits of a possible sentence based on level/degree of crime and prior record. And guess who sets them?? NOT the judges.... it is your legislature!!! If you don't like the sentences attached to certain crimes, contact your legislator and get change in motion.

And, btw, as others have said, the MAXIMUM allowable for an offense is FAR FROM what the actual sentence will end up being.

Bravo! It's the Bad judges and the special interest groups that need to get time right along with the perverts they set free. At the very least they should be the ones made to live right next door to them, since they feel they should be free.

Imagine, people who mistreat animals get more time than those who commit heinous crimes against other human beings! Have you heard anything about Danni Countryman and who raped and killed her on regular Televison? Which of those judges are actual members of groups that support perversion? That's what should be investigated. They have money and are supported By groups with lots of it!
