Bush Sr. was a top-mark student, a hero in WWII, an excellent athlete, and a great businessman.

George W. Bush earned a D average at Harvard, was a draft dodger, an alcohol addict, a male cheerleader, and a miserable businessman.

All in all, I would choose Bush Sr. to be my President again anyday over George W. Bush.

He was definitely a better president and used diplomacy very effectively. Reagan got credit for bringing down the Soviet Union but it was Bush Sr who resided over the fall and actually helped Russia to keep from falling into utter chaos.

I served under Bush Sr but there is no way in the world I would serve under his son who has shown through his actions that he has no respect for our troops or our veterans.

The UN does no longer enable Bush sr take over Iraq,he had jr do it after the elder have been given the U. S. right into a hornets nest, what you're calling a fulfillment is the reason the WTC towers have been delivered down,American troops on Saudi soil grow to be a brilliant no no.

Since W got reelected, and his dad didn't, I would have to say W is the better president (of the two):

George Sr. is great for behind the scenes power broking, but I would rather have W running the show. Even though I am not a Republican, I am definitely happy that he is at least consistent in his beliefs and his policies, even though I disagree with a lot of them.

Even though I'm not a Republican I would have to agree with you on this one. To make matters even worse Bush Sr. stated in one of his books that the reason he would not have occupied Iraq is because of the situation we're in right now, mind you he wrote this books shortly after leaving office. Hmmmm hindsight is 20/20.
