Have a red cap oranda, only one and I was wonder how to tell if the little thing is male or female?

well you do have to wait til breeding time
but there are other ways just they might not be as procise
you can look at how big it is and and how wide wider and bigger female and slender and thin male
but you might mistaken a female for a obese male
and you can always look at where it poo comes from and if the area is kinda sticking out its a female and if you dont notice anything its a male but you might need a magnifying glass if your oranda are small

It's impossible to sex them, unless they're in mating time
