I find humor that democrats stood by a leader who defended his immorality with a play on words.
"[I]t depends on how you define "alone" ... there were a lot of times when we were alone, but I never really thought we were."
"It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is"
- excerpts from Bill Clinton's grand jury testimony
DON"T BE A FREE GOVERNMENT CHEESER.

I am a conservative, but I think it is sad that both parties will wish bad things on our contry to make their party look better. For example the new plan being used in Iraq is already working and the democrats hate this because that will make the conservatives look good. Anyways the republicans would do the same thing if they were in the democrats situation. We need someone in power who will make decisions based on what would really be best, not what will make thier party more favorable.

As a progressive liberal, I kindly request that you shut up, your making us all look bad. Do you really want to spend the next eight years having this debate? Why don't you take some personal responsibility and say the mud slinging, bear baiting tactics so inherent in modern American politics starts with me?

Actually, the word "politician" is what is considered a bad word. True Conservatives are a proud lot and rightly so.

You "proud liberals" run most of the media outlets so you can take an honorable word like "conservative" and associate all kinds of connotations to it. That's why you want the fairness doctrine, to crush the one media outlet which isn't controlled by the left; talk radio.

Me too man. But here's what I think is. You and I both know that most conservatives run for office and use their 'moral values' as the center of their campaigns. They use this tactic to gain the votes of the religious fanatics, the mom and dads of America as well as other conservative types. When it comes out that they act just like everyone else, that is, human, it seems to come as a big surprise. Nobody is perfect, and it is extremely foolish of the conservatives to play up the idea that they actually are. What do you think?

In liberal circles, butchering an unborn baby in the 9th month of pregnancy is moral.
All things considered, I'm happy to be considered immoral by that group.

Conservative is not a bad word. Only in your mind do you associate it with anything negative. All liberals are ignorant.
