OK. Not everyone. I'll say quite a few.

We need to quit worrying about what everyone else thinks. Besides, to say that "everyone" hates us is grossly overinflated and unfounded. Those of us people that actually travel outside the U.S. can attest to that.
Also, if the U.S. was so "hated" we wouldn't have an immigration problem on our hands. The masses don't generally flock to countries that they "hate".
And yes, we will always be "hated" to some degree because superiority is always detested.

There are a lot of nations in the world without facts don't assume they hate us.

Some governments will never agree with us because we are a democratic republic and we protect basic human rights for all as well as freedom.

This might be a hard concept to understand since we have had freedom our whole life, but many people of this world don't know what freedom is and they live in fear. Their own governments put that fear there.

I saw a poll that showed that individuals in other countries see Americans as very generous, especially in times of disaster.

Just because a different form of government hates us because it is afraid its people will up rise against it, doesn't mean we should do anything to get that government to agree with us.

Educate the individuals on freedom and human rights and they will demand the same in their own country.

No the world opinions will not stay the same for ever, it never has. So there is hope for something better for everyone.

Everyone does NOT hate the U.S. What data are you using to make that determination?

Did you you hear that from a source that is unbiased?..... Or, did you hear that from a source that had something to gain by dramatizing a story to get your attention?

Chances are, you are basing your silly notion on false, extremely biased information. You will never hear a story on how much another nation of people loves us. Even if it is the absolute truth, you will NEVER hear that.

You cannot check up to see if what you are hearing is fact or fiction. So you choose to believe the high drama. But you REALLY don't know for sure how the majority feels about the United States.

Its a big world out there and you have to have your information filter on all the time.

Not everyone hates you. You can't please everybody all the time nor should you. You've made mistakes on foreign policy
but name a nation that hasn't.

As a Brit I can say that we've committed some absolute howlers in foreign policy over the last two hundred years but in time power passes to new political leaders and people realise that what was done can't be changed.

Look at Germany and Japan. Back in the international fold within a decade of WW2 and nobody can argue that as far as foreign policy goes theirs at the time was the worst ever.

A nation cannot hate. Only people can hate. It really does not matter what other people think of us. Just don't mess with the US. With 6 billion people in the world, there are all kinds of opinions about the US.

The news media want you to think everyone hates America, honey. America hands money to every country in the world, and yet there are a few jerks out there who would have you believe everyone hates us. It just isn't true.

They say the UN hates us, and yet every time they want to do anything from planning a little military action in some world hotspot to dropping Snickers bars from helecopters in some 3rd world country, they immediately look to the good ole U.S. of A. to finance it. And guess what? 9 times out of 10, we do. Not only that, but if the U.N. hated us so bad, they'd pull their main HQ out of New York and put it somewhere like Paris.

We slap sanctions on countries like Iran because we don't want them using our own money to build nukes that they will use to wipe us out. That would be like a girlfriend buying her abusive boyfriend a nine iron for him to beat on her with, get it?

Hate and jealousy can sometimes get mixed up, but a good lot of the idea that the world hates us comes from journalists who are trying to shape your opinion to be more like theirs.

We send more of our taxpayers dollars to aid other countries in need than any other country in the world, and how do they repay us??? They hate us, of course, until they need help and want us to bail them out. I say the heck with globalization. We're the greatest country in the world. Let's just keep to ourselves and let the world deal with their own problems.

Someone will always hate us. Remember you can please some people some of the time but not all people all of the time.

Each country has their own reason for hating the US. I don't feel we should be in the business of trying to please everybody. How about we spend our energy taking care of our own people instead.

We would have to yank the passports of all of the liberal elitists traveling overseas. They're a poor representation of America, yet they're the examples foreign citizens encounter the most.

With that being said, it's probably a good thing I don't care what other nations think of us.
