party with his sister-in-law by themselves until 3 AM after everyone else has gone to bed two hours earlier? This would be his brother's wife. Then at 3 AM they decide to leave the house they are at together to go and buy cigarettes?

The sister-in-law has only been in the family for 4-5 years, and lives thousands of miles away. Time is spent together usually only on holidays.

I personally would have a problem with this. Even though it may be innocent it could have the possibility turning into something more. As we all know that the more we spend time with someone, especially of the opposite sex, feelings always have the possibility to get involved. So to be on the safe side, it is best not to even go there. Your husband should be wanting to do this with you instead of another woman and his sister-in-law should be with her husband. I don't think it's right....innocent or not. They are playing with fire.

I guess that would depend on how you think he and the sister in law feel about and towards each other.
I have stayed up very late with my wife's sister many times drinking beer after her husband fell asleep and my wife had gone to bed. My wife usually is asleep by 11:00 and I am always up until about 1:00 am. My sister in law likes to stay up later when she gets the chance. Nothing weird, no naughty stuff so I can not say I think it is weird, I do that.

It sounds a little fishy to me. I guess it just depends on what kind of a relationship they have. I know I could hang out with my sister in-laws until 3 am and nobody would have to worry about anything. Do they have a sorted past or are they relaible.

i'm very close to my sister's husband.not as much since she died but still close. i've known him since i was 7 yrs old. we have the same sense of humor and many of the same likes and dislikes. i can absolutely see he and i staying up late watching a movie and having a few shots and believe me, nothing else would even cross our minds. he's like a brother to me. your situation may be a bit different but, it doesn't always have to mean there's something weird going on.

Yeah, I think I would be asking some serious questions, but I wouldn't want to jump to conclusions, till after I spoke with the both of them seperatly.

Well let's just say that if my husband did that I would hope he really liked her because he wouldn't be back in my house.
