Do people that live in essex connecticut, have a bad reputation?

It is considered "The Best Small Town in America".

I dont know anyone that lives in Essex.. So I wouldnt know.
I am sure a few people have a bad rep.. All cities and towns have those type of people, wheather it is true or not, is a different story. Some people get bad Rep's and have not done anything to deserve it.....
