It was only one game. The Yankees are gonna take the rest of the series for sure!

They didn't lose on purpose. And they didn't disrespect Rizzuto by losing. It happens. With Karstens on the mound, they were probably going to lose that game anyways. You can't honestly sit there and tell me that you are a loyal fan. If you don't want to watch the Yankees play anymore just because they lost a game, then that's fine, they don't need fans like you anyways. R.I.P. Scooter, you'll be greatly missed.

They didnt WANT to lose 12-0!

It happens sometimes, the day the Yankees got crushed just happened to be the day Scooter died.

P.S. Go Yankees!

The disrespected The Scooter by losing badly to another team? What? Did they lose on purpose or something? Didn't see that in the write up in the paper. Hey, teams get whacked sometimes (even by teams not nearly as good.)

Looks up and sees The Yankees have a better record than the muts.

Its only one game so simmer down. They'll rebound this afternoon and then take the Tigers by the tail.....

Because the Yankees are not a good team this year, that's why.

ohh wow missy one game theyve done really good of late their winning % is over 600 in like the past month and a half
and it doesnt matter if they win or lose in memory of rizzuto it how they honor him yes they shouldve won but they didnt
jeff karstens didnt do that good he walked 5 in 3 innings and 5 runs in 5 innings jim brower sucked and their offence didnt do anything with only 2 hits

Will it be disrespectful when they lose today also? Not really...but they will most likely lose considering the pitching match-up. It isn't disreptful...it's a loss...they happen...get used to them.

You're not a true fan at all. It's baseball. Stuff like this happens. You have no sense of loyalty.

Obviously you're not a loyal fan or else wouldn't care that they lost.
