Honestly, the cruelty doesn't surprise me. Most of the animals that are raised for human consumption are treated terribly for their short miserable lives and then meet and end that puts the most gruesome horror movie to shame.
I would love for something to be done about it. God put humans over animals to rule over them, not to treat them like dirt. It sickens me.
I don't eat meat of any kind and I also do not eat dairy. Those two industries are SO cruel to animals, it makes me cry. I do not patronize any companies that associate with those two industries and I also try to live my life as cruelty-free as possible (with makeup, shampoo, cleaners, etc.)
