I normally start about now and buy one a week. If I see something then I buy it though. I cant bear all the naff stuff that they fill the shops with in December.

I start buying in January. I buy one present for my son and one present for my wife each month. That way they both have twelve each to open on Xmas Day. My son gets loads of other prezzies from other people too. I usually wait until about October before buying their main gifts. Most of the other prezzies will be stocking fillers, as watching them both with a pile of gifts on Xmas Day is the one of the loveliest experiences I go through.

This is really sad but i usually buy a lot of xmas pressies in the January sales, saves you a fortune and you dont have to worry about it for the rest of the yr.

2 weeks before. I love going out for 3 or 4 days and coming back with armfuls...I love the carols in the shops and the excitement on the kids faces..I love the pretty lights and everyone's in a good mood. Also i dont have long to wait to see the faces as i am very excited for them to see what i bought....

Depends - sometimes I will see things that look good through the year and will get them. I have been know to buy things in the January sales and save them for Christmas!

Either Sep/Oct...depending if I see something I want to buy, there really is no set time I start. I like to be finished before Thanksgiving, it makes life easier.
