I Think the only Republican left in Washington will be the President Mitt Romney. "Just Say No" to big Government & to Democrats and their Socialist government. Here is how they think. In order for the Republicans to pass the wiretapping law they had to agree with the Democrats to pass a bill aiding Peanut Farmers.

Where in the Hell is their head? Peanuts or Terrorist. And to all you big Dummies that voted Democrat for your senator and representatives. What have they done for you? other than spend millions in pork barrel spending. $700,000 for the Admiral Theater in Bremerton, Washington, the district of House appropriator Norm ***** (D-Wash.), despite a $4.2 million privately-funded facelift; President Bush Proposed reduction in Pork Barrel spending max. out at 22.4 bil. The additional Pork Barrel spending proposed by the Democrats is 23.7 bil.

Conclusion: The Long-Term Cost

The $23 billion that the House has added to the budget is set to become part of the permanent discretionary spending baseline. Over ten years, this addition could cost American taxpayers $276 billion, or $2,400 per household.

And you dummies voted for Democrat. At least when The Republicans spend money at least it's on the Military.

Don't kid yourself. Hillary is probably the most loved and most hated politician in America today.

The are plenty pockets in the country where people will voted for anyone as long as they are openly anti-Clinton.

Hillary has a good chance of winning in 08 but there will be a hardcore opposition waiting in the wings of Congress. Many of the old faces will be gone but the newest crop of neo-cons will be even radically right wing than the bunch that are around now.

As long as Washington is a center of power it will never be a ghost town. The rich and powerful who pull the strings behind the government will always be there no matter party is in office.

There will be, I wouldn't be suprised to see a mixed legislature. The senate right now is essentially half and half on the political spectrum. The American people can't tolerate a single party in power for any great length of time. Failure of the Bush administration doesn't mean that large numbers of people are leaving the conservative cause - it just means that they'll demand better performance out of the Republican Party (or the Democrats, for that matter).

Remember that Congress has about as good an approval rating as the President - so they're both pathetic.

I just wish the Republicans would get back to the 10th Amendment - the positions on immigration and education are pathetic.

Surely people have had enough of Hillary already. She truly is Bush/Cheney light.

And those old fuddy duddy Roadblock Republicans are only interested in wars and more wars.

America needs to elect someone who runs the place like a profitable business, instead of the world's biggest bully.

There will be many republicans who win Senate and House seats in next years elections. I also would not assume anything about who will win the Democratic Primary, much less the full election. There is a lot of time between now and November 2008. I think that we have the potential to learn a lot about ourselves and our nation this time around though.

I really don't think hillary is going to be the next president. If the democrats nominate her, there will probably be another republican in office. Its not because of her platform, I just don't think that enough people who actually vote will vote for a woman. I know the world is supposed to be more progressive now, and that gender shouldn't matter, but too many younger voters that would vote a woman in are disaffected by government that they won't bother.

Hastert is old an should leave. He will probably get a job lobbying for one of the companies he has been taking bribes from. None of them ever really leave, if they don't get jobs lobbying they go to one of those mysterious "Think Tanks" owned by even more mysterious front organizations.

I just don't see her getting elected. Her negatives are still around 43% and haven't budged. People just don't trust her, and she never really says what she would do. I don't think she knows herself. To put it in perspective, what "43% negatives" means is that 43% of the people wouldn't vote for her even if the alternative was OJ Simpson, LOL!
