I can agree with the assertion that these fundamentalists do believe that they are "in the majority." However, I sincerely doubt moderates have anything to do with their rise. The fundamentalist Christian legislators, as with any other politician, simply benefitted from a low voter turnout in their home districts, thus enabling them to get into office to further their extremist agenda.

I think you are just asking this question to provoke the loonies into answering the way some of the ones above did. If you are serious however I think that all opinions, both religious and political, are subject to having their extremists. Only if the extremists make up the majority can the entire group be judged by them. Although, it stands to reason to examine why the "normal" ones out of the group tolerate the others inclusion in their group and to see what response is given to radical behavior. In the case of the Christians you can look to the quick condemnation of the abortion bombers and how quickly that action was snuffed out. They typically control the crazies as well as can be expected. Politicians, as we can all see, are completely out of control, from the Senator who was soliciting pages in Florida, to Kennedy with Chappaquiddick. Politicians are slow to act on eachother, if they do at all. Finally, Muslims do not seem to speak out much if at all against their radical counterpart for their violent behavior. I think you have to look at all groups not just one, and realize that everyone has got people associated with them that they wish were not. (By the way I am an Atheist so there is not religious bias here.)

of path no longer. the familiar public of Muslims are not terrorists. Uh, the place did you get that sixty 3%? in spite of each little thing, it is not shown that even the Iranian government is finding for nuclear weapons. The voters of Iran are no longer a majority of all Muslims on earth, as everybody who has any techniques in any respect is conscious. it incredibly is replaced right into a tiny minority who danced interior the streets after 9/11. There are feminists in all Muslim-majority international places. returned, YOU making stuff up and claiming it as actuality does not make your assertions actual. You supply NO source for any of your invented "data" -- no longer to show a stable source.

do you mean pretend Christians, ones who vote out of line with what the bible teaches, like the "Christians" who have homosexual preachers, or who vote for pro-abortion candidates? Are these the ones you are referring to? Christ Said they are like lukewarm water, and he would spit them out. It would be better for them to be either completely evil or not, but in the middle was a lost cause. Is those the ones you are referring to?

So you're one of those "fanatical counterparts"? How else would you know much about it if you weren't?
Please don't try that liberal BS on here when so many know better than you do.
